A Type A facility cares for residents who do not require routine attendance during sleeping hours and are capable of following directions in an emergency.
A Type C facility is a four-bed facility which meets the minimum standards and program rules for enrollment with the Department of Aging and Disability Services as an adult foster care facility.
Furnishes food and shelter to no more than three (3) persons who are unrelated to the proprietor of the establishment; and provides personal care services. Multiple homes, regardless of number of residents, requires licensing.
A Type B facility is for residents who require staff assistance to evacuate, are not capable of following directions in an emergency and require nighttime attendance.
A Type E facility is for residents who are mentally and physically capable of unassisted evacuation in an emergency, do not require night time attendance and require only medication supervision
